TFA - We are always growing.
It all started with a technical fixture factory called TFA, founded by Heinz Dostmann - Germany in November 1964. Initially the young company was focused in the production of the well-known Maximum-Minimum Thermometers. These thermometers determined the highest and lowest temperature over a period of time determined by its last reset. TFA started with only 6 workers. The company then had to change its location several times, and in 1966 the company's first building was constructed on its present site. A steady expansion of the product range followed in the following years as barometers, hydrometers and compasses were added to the production. Numerous patents and successful ideas have given the company secure and steady growth.
Today, TFA Dostmann Ltd. is one of the most competitive barometer and thermometer companies with over 800 products to date. It has 11000sqm of office, production and warehouse space. The company's 110 employees fulfill more than 50,000 orders per year and nearly 7 million products are shipped to customers in 65 countries.
